Cancer Rehabilitation

From the moment you were diagnosed with cancer you became a cancer survivor. Our goal at Sturdy is to help you begin rehabilitation as soon as possible, sometimes even before your cancer treatment has begun.

We believe that survivorship is a critical part of your cancer treatment. Our team is committed to providing support and services to help you during your cancer journey, whether undergoing active treatment or in remission. We offer services to improve side effects associated with treatment such as fatigue, pain, deconditioning, loss of range of motion, reduced physical strength and lymphedema.     Our Oncology Department holds a Breast Cancer Support Group on a regular basis for those undergoing treatment for breast cancer, as well as survivors.

    If diet and exercise have not worked, or you’ve developed medical conditions because of excess weight, it may be time to consider weight loss surgery.
