Dr. Marco Dirks is fellowship trained in hand and micro surgery, and board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Dirks has always been fascinated by the function and intricate anatomy of the hand. He finds it satisfying to relieve patients from pain and improve their hand function.
Dr. Dirks believes treatment should be individually tailored to suit each patient. At an appointment with him, patients will carefully review the history of their condition followed by an examination, with on-site X-ray and ultrasound, if indicated. Often times there are multiple treatment options for each patient in his care, and a treatment plan will be formulated to address specific needs.
In his free time, Dr. Dirks enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sailing (including two Atlantic Ocean crossings), and bee-keeping!
