Our breastfeeding class teaches about positioning, latch, what to expect, pumping and milk storage.

Description

Our breastfeeding class is focused on teaching you how to best start your breastfeeding journey. Led by a Board Certified Lactation Consultant, you'll learn about the benefits of breastfeeding for both mom and baby along with:

  • Proper positioning and how to get a good latch.
  • Feeding patterns and how to recognize if your baby is getting enough milk.
  • How milk production works and ways to get a good supply.
  • What to expect right after birth, in the hospital, the first couple of weeks and home, and beyond.

We encourage you to bring your support person with you to the class as this will help you on your breastfeeding journey.

This class meets once a month.
