Sturdy Memorial Chief Executive to Retire in 2021
Joseph F. X. Casey, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sturdy Memorial Hospital, the Hospital's top administrator for the past 3 years, has announced his intent to retire by the end of this fiscal year after 32 years of service. Over the next few months, a search for his successor will begin. Mr. Casey joined Sturdy Memorial in 1989 as Controller, and was promoted to Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer in 1996.
Mr. Casey expressed his confidence in the leadership team of Sturdy and their thoughtful succession planning, further noting that the hospital, staff, physicians, and community are in excellent hands and looks forward to seeing the organization's continued success.
