Sturdy Memorial Hospital Names Three to Emergency Care Center Leadership Roles
ATTLEBORO, MA – David Denneno, APRN-BC, MSN, MEd, CEN, has been named Director of Emergency Services, Jessica Padykula, RN, MSN, CEN, has been named Resource Specialist and Clinical Educator and Jean L. Fitzpatrick, RN, BSN, is the new Clinical Manager for the Emergency Care Center (ECC).
David Denneno joined Sturdy as the ECC Resource Specialist in 2003. He received his Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from Regis College and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He received his Master’s in Education (MEd) through Eastern Nazarene College and is a Certified Emergency Nurse. David now oversees the Emergency Care Center, the Emergency Management Program and has Administrative oversight for Occupational Health Services.
Jessica Padykula began at Sturdy as a Patient Care Assistant in April 2005. She graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) and completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with an emphasis in Nursing Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Responsibilities include orientation and education of Emergency Department Staff, including ongoing competency assessment and continuing education.
Jean L. Fitzpatrick comes to Sturdy from Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island with 27 years of nursing experience, of which 21 years have been in Emergency Nursing. She has previous experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry and Operating Room Nursing. Jean is responsible for first line management and clinical oversight of ECC nursing and ancillary personnel. Including responsibility for staffing, quality and service excellence.
