Sturdy Memorial Hospital Affiliated Physicians Named to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Honor Roll
ATTLEBORO, MA – Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC) has named Sturdy Memorial Hospital Affiliated Physicians to its 14th annual Physician Group Honor Roll. The HPHC Honor Roll highlights physician groups that have achieved exceptional results in their approach to disease prevention and the treatment of acute and chronic illness.
Sturdy Memorial Hospital Affiliated Physicians were one of 59 physician groups in Massachusetts and New Hampshire named to the Honor Roll. According to HPHC, physician groups are selected for the honor roll based on clinical performance measures against national standards set by HEDIS® (Healthcare Effectiveness Date and Information Set), to assess the clinical performance of doctors and other medical professionals.
“Expectations of physicians to provide quality care at affordable prices are increasingly high,” said Michael Sherman, MD, chief medical officer, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. “These physician groups are notable for their ability to keep patients at the forefront as health care evolves towards a greater outcomes and value orientation.”
