In 2013, Sturdy Memorial Hospital completed a comprehensive community health needs assessment (CHNA) to evaluate the health needs of individuals living in the hospital’s service area. In 2016, the assessment process was enhanced through a contract with a professional consulting research firm who specializes in the Community Health Needs Assessment reporting requirement.
Completing a CHNA every three years allows us to keep a pulse on the public health concerns of our community members and develop strategies to address them. At Sturdy we are committed to the people we serve and the communities where they reside.
