Respiratory Care

A wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services are available, including sleep studies and pulmonary function testing. Some of the services provided by the Sturdy Memorial Hospital Respiratory Care department include:

• An outpatient Pulmonary Rehab program combines education and exercise to help those with diagnosed lung disease return to their highest level of functioning.
• A Sleep Lab, featuring the latest technology and comforting, knowledgeable staff.
• Sleep apnea informational sessions featuring the latest in CPAP equipment are held several times during the year.
• A Breathing Club is held monthly (September - May) for people with breathing difficulties.
