Botox Treatment in MSSturdy Memorial's Multiple Sclerosis Center has expanded its services. Our comprehensive care package now includes botulinum toxin injections. Botulinum Toxin Type A is used to treat focal muscle spastic disorders and muscle contractions. This treatment may be given to patients when spasticity and pain have been unresponsive to conventional treatment such as medication and/or physical therapy. Anyone interested in this program should ask their primary care physician to make a referral.
