"Healthy-Steps" For Cancer Patients

The "Healthy-Steps" exercise and movement program for cancer patients is held every Thursday evening. "Healthy-Steps" is a therapeutic exercise program, which combines gentle movements, dance, and music to improve overall wellness, range of motion, balance, strength, and endurance, as well as emotional wellbeing and self-image. Infant Massage Program

Sturdy will offer a FREE infant massage program on Saturday, May 25 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Auditorium. This program is designed for new moms and their partners, and will focus on the techniques and benefits of massage for infants. Tips on how to soothe and calm a colicky baby will also be provided. Parents are encouraged to bring their infants, ages two weeks – 10 months old. Class size is limited and pre-registration is necessary. New Moms Group

A FREE New Moms Group is offered for women with babies between the ages of two weeks and 12 months. Participants have the opportunity to talk about their growing babies, discuss concerns and expectations, share tips, and more. The group meets every Wednesday, and participants can join at any time. Pelvic Floor Muscle Rehabilitation Informational Session
Pelvic Floor Muscle Rehabilitation (PFMR), which treats a wide range of bladder disorders including stress and urge incontinence, is usually a first-line treatment option because it’s accomplished in a noninvasive, painless way, without side effects and with a 70-80 percent success rate of significantly improving symptoms. Sturdy will hold a Sleep Apnea Informational Session and C.P.A.P. Fair on Thursday, May 23. The Fair will feature the latest technology and equipment available to treat sleep apnea. The evening’s topic is “What Is Sleep Apnea And How Is It Treated?” Additionally, attendees will learn how to care for their equipment.
